Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, is a collection of Bible studies, articles, stories, and theological reflections highly useful for congregations wanting to explore becoming a welcoming and affirming place for GLBBTQ folk. It was produced by The Alliance of Baptists, the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America and the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists. First Baptist Halifax story is included. This is a valuable resource to help churches discuss the move to become welcoming and affirming congregations.
Rev. Dr. Jaime Clark-Soles is a Baptist who teaches New Testament at Perkins School of Theology (United Methodist) in Dallas and attends a progressive Baptist Church in the Dallas area.
