Council Meetings Highlights
The CABF Council met virtually on March 13 and here are some of the highlights:
- Rushton Lecture - June 1, 2024 in Bridgewater Baptist Church. Rev. Joe Green and Rev. Sarah Scott will present on the topic:
Responding to MAiD: Spiritual reflections, experiences and questions.

CABF Cross Canada Conference: October 28 - 31, 2024 at First Baptist Church Halifax. Theme: Chaos and Christ. There will be worship, speakers, discussion and, of course, rich fellowship. More details will be available soon.

New Brochure: A new brochure describing the CABF and its activities was approved. It is available for download here. Many thanks to David Gibson for preparing it.
- Bulletin Themes announced: The Publications Committee reported that The Spring 2024 edition will continue to build on the winter content under the theme “Diversity in Worship”, that the Fall 2024 edition will spring board from the Rushton Lecture as we reflect on
the theme of “Mental Health and Well Being” and that the Winter 2025 edition will pick up on the theme of “Christ and Chaos” from the
Cross Canada Conference, exploring perspectives on Christianity and global conflict and crisis. - AGM: The 2023 - 2024 CABF AGM will be held virtually on September 24, 2024 at 7pm (AST).
